in short, I was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1986, I spent most of my time growing up in Stockholm, some traveling during the summers but mostly I spent my time in Stockholm’s archipelago sailing, swimming and just goofing away at our family’s summer place just outside of Stockholm.
When I was 19 and finished high-school I was feeling it was time for something new, something different than just the same old Sweden, so I took advantage of having an uncle living in China, Shanghai, and went over right after high-school. Since I'd already been there a lot of times it seemed to me like a good place to take some time off before continuing my studies.
I was originally going to stay for 6 months up to a year, but I really liked it, and now that’s three and half years later and I never did leave. I stayed and learned some Chinese. And I'm currently finishing up my studies at Shanghai International College of Culture.
I started this blog, after 4 years, living abroad, thought is was about time and seems everyone else is doing it, and it seemed like a good way to keep friends around the world up to date on what is going with me.
